This is my first and I just love it. I've never used or had really heard of "bias" until I stumbled across
Whip Up's blog here. This pattern is so easy and fun. I think I will make more of these cuties to gift. Well I'm heading back to the sewing machine.

My First Etsy Purchase...

After a long day at work, I came home and checked the mail. There was a large enevelope in there from Sunnie, Fl. YIPPEE!!! My wool doll hair from Sherry arrived!! Sherry is such an awesome girl! She sent me the awesome doll hair PLUS some vintage buttons and the cutest mini sweater. I cant wait to use the doll hair but I hated to open the bag it was in so I cut the bottom hehe. Halloween Fabric Find!

Today has been an awesome day. I've had some quality "me" time. Hubby is working and the kids are visiting friends. I've managed to get some things around the house, made a pincushion, finished some sewing. So I decided to look in my "craft closet" and found a box of fabric I totally forgot I had! I found some cute Halloween fabrics, I'm so excited. I guess I will get some more things added to my sewing to do list.

Happy Birthday Taylor!!!

I would like to wish my daughter Taylor, a very Happy Birthday!! She invited friends for a sleepover, wow was that fun! They had a water balloon fight until the mosquitos took over. So today we will take them to the lake. She turned 15 on Friday! Wow how time flies when your having fun!
I also finished my "Twig Newton" Annie, made from a pattern by my friend Sherry of AnniesCupboards. Sherry is an amazing doll designer and I just love her work!
